My mum's birthday was in January and I thought I would continue my handmade tradition and craft her a pretty dress with matching earrings.
I thought the pink floral cotton was delightfully Cath-Kidston-esque, and a far more reasonable price. The lace collar added a nice finish, my mum is a girly girl through and through, and loves to wear little a-line dresses like this with loose linen trousers. I used my trusty old fave pattern New Look 6868, other versions can be found here.
