My first attempt at making a T-shirt has worked quite well. I say first, I have made a Tshirt before way back when I was at school, but was too poor in those days to buy paper patterns so instead I drafted my own with interesting results.
So I guess this is my first well fitting Tshirt and it is very comfortable, made in a silky lightweight jersey from fabricland, covered in my two favourite things, flowers and stripes. Quite Parisienne, non? It was incredibly simple to construct, simply a front, back and neck binding and could be completed with just one metre of 150 wide jersey.
Summer top, check! Now the Easter holiday is upon me, what to sew next....
