Tapestry skirt Simplicity 2512

I was recently inspired, whilst planning my winter wardrobe, by 'tapestry'-type skirts. I'm not sure if this is the correct word for the fabric I used, but it is a heavy weight, heavily decorated cotton in wintery, rich colours most often used for cushions or perhaps soft furnishings.
On with the pin-able inspiration-

For my skirt I chose to used Simplicity Cynthia Rowley 2512 because I have used this pattern before in a brown polyester suiting and it turned out so nicely.

The skirt used just a meter of fabric (I made view A) and so was a very cheap project, only £5 including the shiny exposed gold zipper! I didn't adjust the pattern except for removing the waist tie and shortening the finished length because I'm short.

That's all for today, I hope you like my pretty new skirt! Give this pattern a go if you fancy a new high waist style.
Thanks for reading and happy sewing x o x o
